My testimony

So I may have mentioned that I have a friend who has decided that the Church isnt for her any longer. I dont share her beliefs. I know the Church is true. Anyway since this whole experience has started I have been praying to my Heavenly Father to strengthen my testimony each day. To help me be strong in my faith even when I have questions. I want to tell you what happened today.

I have been reading the Book of Mormon and nearing the end. I knew today would be the day that I finished it. I have also been saying a little prayer before I start reading each day to learn something new or to have better understanding, things like that. So as I said, I knew I would finish it today. So in my prayer I asked Heavenly Father to reaffirm the truthfulness of this book. I've read it before so I already have a testimony of its truthfulness. I just wanted to have it confirmed again.

This verse is in Moroni 10:4-5,

And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would aask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not btrue; and if ye shall ask with a csincere heart, with dreal intent, having efaith in Christ, he will fmanifest the gtruth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may aknow the btruth of all things.

As I was reading this verse, the sweetest feeling came over me. I really don't know how to describe it other than a warm, cozy, tingly feeling. It just felt so good. It made me feel like my chest would explode from being so full of joy. It definitely confirmed for me once again the truthfulness of this book which in turn confirms that this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, IS the only true church. That Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, that President Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God. That Jesus Christ is my Savior and He loves me. I am so thankful for that witness, once again.
