Family Reunion

This is on our way to the lake. Yes, we did all cram into the suburban. Lorin drove very carefully and obeyed all traffic laws! I am sitting in the front seat with Tevin taking the picture.

This is Byron helping Madeline get her jacket to the top of the flag pole. She was thrilled to get it all the way up there!

Today and tomorrow is our Terry Family Reunion. We have one every two years. It is an overnight camping excursion that we are doing at the Marjorie Peay Hinkley YW Camp. It is a fun time. It is nice to go and see all the cousins and relatives that I haven't seen for a long time. Its a little weird at the same time because as we get older we have not really stayed in contact. But it is fun catching up and seeing their families grow. There is a tiny lake there that we can go canoeing on. It is pretty fun. The first time we went we didn't know how strict they were, you have to wear long pants, close toed shoes and no swimming suits. We thought it was really dumb but I guess it is all for protection. And the lake is pretty gross looking, you don't want to swim in it anyway. Grandma and Grandpa Terry will not be attending this year. They are both in a nursing home and don't really know what is going on these days. It makes me sad. They were such great grandparents. They have been such a great example to me in my life. I will miss them being there this time. More on this later......
